In a statement, the bank announced that users can now access 11 specific cryptocurrencies through the platform.
The supported digital assets include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), Polkadot (DOT), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Avalanche (AVAX), Uniswap (UNI), Chainlink (LINK), and Aave (AAVE).
The new feature, branded as “GoCrypto,” is designed to facilitate instant funding and withdrawal between cryptocurrency and regular currency.
By integrating these capabilities directly into the banking app, the service removes the requirement for users to register with third-party platforms to invest in or trade digital assets.
Regarding security and compliance, GoTyme stated that the feature includes risk profiling at the sign-up stage to help guide users’ investment decisions.
Furthermore, the bank noted that all trading activities take place within a closed-loop system to ensure transaction security.
GoTyme President Nathan Clarke stated that the initiative aims to make the investment horizon more accessible for Filipinos.

“For too long, crypto investing has felt complicated or out of reach. We’re changing that by giving Filipinos a platform that’s simple, intuitive, and built on the same rock-solid infrastructure that powers our everyday banking,” Clarke said.
This development follows the bank’s recent milestone of reaching 8 million customers.
