A seasoned financial services leader with 24 year industry experience, Pia Arellano is the President and CEO of TransUnion Philippines and is responsible for driving the Transunion business in delivering innovative information solutions for the country. She is instrumental in solidifying TransUnion’s position as the leading comprehensive private credit bureau and in establishing the company as a risk management and information solutions partner, helping businesses make informed decisions and supporting consumers in accessing financial products and services that ultimately lead to a higher quality of life. An accomplished professional with a solid track record in delivering profits and growth for companies, prior to joining TransUnion Ms. Arellano most recently served as Head of Sales at Visa, where she was responsible for business development in the Philippines and Guam. Before Visa, she served as Vice President for Retail Banking in Chinatrust Banking Corporation, and as a Business Development Manager for Western Union. Ms. Arellano started her career in Citibank and was responsible for the launch of Ready Credit in the Philippines. Ms. Arellano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines, where she graduated Cum Laude. She also studied European Business at ESSCA University in France.
