Acting Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer – PayMongo As PayMongo’s Chief Operating Officer, Isabel implemented structural improvements in the organization seven months into the COO role by building the Operations department with the goal of making it a pillar of competitive advantage. Isabel first joined PayMongo as Chief of Sta where she oversaw special projects, PayMongo’s e-wallet license application with the central bank, overseas expansion initiatives, and the company’s Series B. As COO, Isabel oversees Partnerships, Insights and Analytics, Customer Support, Risk Operations, Merchant Onboarding, and Business Process Improvement. Isabel also briefly managed People and Finance in PayMongo. She brings over twelve years of corporate and investment banking experience to the company, having previously worked for the country’s central bank (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas), Maybank ATR Kim Eng Capital Partners, Société Générale in London, MUFG Bank, and Standard Chartered. As COO, she intends to continue establishing scalable and efficient processes for PayMongo while overseeing all operational and business activities of the company. Isabel joined PayMongo in March 2021.
