The FinTech Alliance.Ph and the eMoney Association of the Philippines will lead the Advocacy Campaign on the Responsible Use of Digital Payment Platforms on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 10:00am via FB Live. We will be joined by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Ben Diokno, Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Acting Chairman Soccorro Inting, and Anti-Money Laundering Council Executive Director Atty. Mel Racela.

A fintech industry statement will also be presented in response to the BSP Memorandum No. M-2021-074 on the possible proliferation of digital vote-buying and vote-selling schemes and the AMLC 14 February 2022 Advisory to BSP-supervised financial institutions to ensure that proceeds from unlawful activities are not laundered during the campaign period.

We remain steadfast, as industry leaders, in our commitment to promote the responsible use of digital payment platforms, especially in the days leading up to the May elections. More than just a public information campaign, it is our civic duty to safeguard the credibility and integrity of digital services and channels, primarily created to better the lives of all Filipinos
